One interesting result of having lengthier locs is forgetting about pulling one's hair back out of one's face before attempting to eat one's meal. It is not such the issue that I am going to opt for shorter locs. But as my locs have matured and grown, I find it interesting how they require me to make a few adjustments here and there with day to day activities.
I do not mind the adjustments. I figure... since I am single and without children... I have to appreciate my locs for keeping me on my toes just by being what they are naturally.

SIL,
I am finding that annoying bedtime tug to be a problem, too... Who knew these issues would lead to problem-solving and not throwing fits... lol

I'm not there yet with the hair-in-food dilemma, but to be forewarned is to be forearmed :)
Hi Jena - wow, that's a trip! The things we face, with a head full of beautiful locks...I say we, but really just mean collectively...I don't have that issue yet, but strangely enough, I cannot wait! ;-))
Thank you n'Drea and Aundrea...
It is not a problem I can live without...
Be blessed~
Looking forward to having that problem. You're looking good.
Paylar,
It is a problem I can live with. Hope your growth comes swiftly.

I first saw your blog link on the LHBE. Your comment really resonates with me b/c I had traditional locks x 7 yrs and they use to get trapped while I slept or in my food or under my arm (!) once in a while. Now I am back to locks again x 1.5 years after a 4 year break during which I had a very TWA. I am new to So Cal, I have sisterlocks but I like what you said about how yours are larger and that you've combined some. Could I hear more about your locks, their maintenance and your consultant?
Many thanks. Forgive me if it takes me a while to figure out replies and such...I am very new to the blog scene.
Greetings Natch,
Your comment and question...

My answer...
I will try to post more about my maintenance and my locks soon... I do not live in So. Cal. anymore (sniff-sniff), but you can learn more about my consultant by clicking on the links or labels or a web search or myspace search...
Good luck with you transition and may God continue to bless you~
Thanks very much for the reply!
